A successful lifestyle community must have more than just buildings. Driving it should be a foundation of experience and understanding.
The organisation behind The Russley Village is Retirement Assets Ltd, a soundly backed company with 14 years experience in the creation and operation of successful retirement communities. Current developments include Pacific Coast at Mt Maunganui, Ranfurly Village Auckland, and The Russley Village.
The Managing Director of Retirement Assets Ltd, and leading The Russley Village project, is Graham Wilkinson of Christchurch. Much of Graham’s background is the development of luxury hotels and resorts, and this influence is evident in the style in which The Russley Village is being created. Graham is a member of the Retirement Village Association Executive for over 10 years.
Chief Executive of Retirement Assets Limited is Peter Cross, who has been involved in successful retirement villages since the early 1980s. Experience includes Hillsborough Heights, Hibiscus Coast, Knightsbridge, Park Lane, Mayfair, Ocean Shores and Waiheke Village
Retirement Assets' joint venture partner in The Russley Village is well known local Antony Gough. Antony’s family established the substantial Gough Gough & Hamer engineering enterprise, and Antony is the landlord for many important Christchurch buildings and well as being Chairman of Central City Retailers Association. Antony has owned the Russley Hotel since 1995.

Marketing
Nola Lamb is well known by many Christchurch retirement village residents having been involved in villages in the city for over 10 years. Nola was closely involved in the design of the total village including villa and apartment layout as well as the Russley Homestead community centre, using her knowledge of what Christchurch people really wanted and needed. Nola has an unmatched reputation for her genuine interest in people and has established life long friendships with her clients and their families. Nola is responsible for all marketing and is confident that the village will set new standards for retirement living.

Judy Bailey is also pleased to be involved in marketing of the village. Judy’s parents were one of the first residents in an Auckland village managed and later owned by Retirement Assets and their current executives. Judy saw firsthand the peace of mind that retirement village living gave her parents. She also knew the Russley Hotel from her journalist training days in Christchurch and is thrilled to be able to help promote the village.
