The Russley Village Logo

What our logo stands for

The three leaves of The Russley Village logo stand for the three things that we believe define both Christchurch and the village; gardens, lifestyle and heritage.

With eight acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, The Russley Village will set new standards for lifestyle village attractiveness. Canterbury people have pride in Christchurch’s “garden city” reputation and we intend to ensure the gardens are a real showpiece.

The lifestyle we are endeavouring to provide for senior Cantabrians is also obvious. The village has a Christchurch architectural theme, and has been urban designed with each villa or apartment individually resolved to maximize its character. While most villages have only one or two types of units, we have 9 different designs amongst the 25 villas alone! We are catering to provide not only the emotional and physical security that a village can offer, but a level of facilities in the Russley Homestead that matches or exceeds anything in our country.

The third of the leaves in the logo represents the heritage that we know that the original Russley Hotel represented and our desire to capture this heritage as we rejuvenate this wonderful old icon.

Everything The Russley Village does will be against a background of these three important criteria.
